##How to post an image...essential 4 all

Some users cant see d pictures, this is due to d imageshack problem...
So for internet explorer users follow this..:awesome:
Let's first get to know about the problem...
Imageshack has blocked hot linking.
But how does Imageshack know whether an image is hotlinked?
When your browser requests for the image from Imageshack it sends a Referer URL revealing the fact that you're hot linking.
So the way to fool Imageshack is by suppressing this information to be sent by YOUR browser.
The way to do this is by installing a middle-man on your computer...
This is where Proxomitron comes in...
You just configure your browser to regard Proxomitron (which runs on your computer) as a "proxy"
Go to your browser proxy settings and type localhost:8080 as the proxy address

After installing Proxomitron... play around with and get familiar with it...
Like I said, make sure you're browser's configured to consider Proxomitron as its proxy server, port 8080

Scroll down and check the box next to Referer (Hide where we've been) as shown in the pic

The great thing about Proxomitron is that it's so flexible, when you dont want it, just click 'Bypass'

For the folks who don't want to install Proxomitron you have no choice but to use another image hosting server... but i've been using Proxomitron all along because of the customability it gives independent of ur browser.

U can simply use firefox or opera browsers which r fast and more comfotable.
If this browsers r also causing some problems to you..then follow this..:awesome:

Here we go
On the address bar type 'about:config'

then on that page on filter type in 'network.http.sendRefererHeader'

double click on the 'network.http.sendRefererHeader' and change the value to 0 (zero).

Using some good quality free hosting service...easiest way to share..
The best way is to host your photos with another site and post them here. Basically you go to the site, upload the photo and follow the instructions on how to post it in a thread. There are plenty sites that offer this, here are some of the more popular ones:

Making your life easy @ IMAGESHACK.US

First start off with the REGISTRATION PROCEDURE so that you can keep a tab of all images you have loaded up on imageshack

Click the MY IMAGES link

u will then be led to this page link http://reg.imageshack.us/content.php?page=register

the on this page give out an email id of your choice. then in about 5 - 10 minutes you will receive a mail from Imageshack which would contain a link for a cookie to be set in your computer which will let imageshack keep a tab of all images you upload to their server. SAVE this cookie link someplace on your computer so that in case if u deletew your cookie files just copy paste this link in your browser and you can access all images you uploaded on Imageshack

How to post image using imageshack.



go to www.imageshack.us
once the page loads u will see the browse option
click on it and when the pop up open select the exact image you want to load to the imageshack server (image size limit is 1024KB)
once desired image is selected click OK --- then click UPLOAD
now the said image loads to imageshakc server
then depinding upon how big the image is (by this i mean image resolution and size in KBs) u post thumbnails or the direct image

for thumbnails --- use THUMBNAIL FOR FORUMS(1) code - copy paste it in the normal reply window we have
for full embedded image (one which expands in the page itself) use HOTLINKS FOR FORUMS (1)
