Hello my dear newbies .. just posting some of the uploading sites on the internet ..
For VDOs, Files, Songs and other such content .. use sites like
http://rapidshare.de/ (Max size - 100 MB)
http://www.uploading.com/ (Max size - 150 MB)
http://www.megaupload.com/ (Max size - 250 MB)
This site are all one-click uploading type so very simple to understand .. they are among the best ones available on the net and most forums use em
For Images i suggest the following ones .. excellent hosting websites which do not advertise in their thumbnails so can be very well used !!

www.theimagehosting.com (http://www.theimagehosting.com)
www.imageuploading.com (http://www.imageuploading.com)
These are all free sites and very handy whilst using .. hope this list helps u ppl out there
