The year was 1981, which brought with itself a host of new actors, actresses and directors to Bollywood.
One such name was Nazneen - though she had debuted in 1974, she was sort of re-introduced in 1981 by T Rama Rao - the big shot director from down south with innumerable family dramas to his credit........
Nazneen was essentially the girl next door till this movie happened....... This image changed overnite after the release of this movie, however, she wasn't able to encash its success thereafter.
Her only claim to fame was much later in her career as Kunti of Mahabharata serial by the Chopras.
This movie has a weak storyline - in fact, it had no story at all if one dares to say so.....
Jeetendra and Rekha are happily married after the usual on screen romance is complete. Jeetendra and Rekha are madly in love with each other, despite Rekha is extremely suspicious and possessive. Jeetendra, has an accidental brush with a friend of his wife and Rekha promptly dumps him. Decides to raise her son on her own........ Only in the end, she understands her mistake and then they live happily thereafter.
Nazneen is a close friend of Rekha, who is married to a gentleman, and also dies just before the interval of the movie........ Afterwards, Nazneen continues to live a widowed life awaiting some Insurance money from Jeetendra's company.
On that fateful day, Jeetendra, comes to Nazneen's city to complete the formalities and pay the Insurance money to her. On his way to his house, he fells down and gets smacked by mud.
Nazneen, graciously, permits him to use her bathroom to get himself cleaned. Jeetendra, while in his hurry to get the mud off, drops the soap on the floor of the bathroom. With mud and soap over his face and in his eyes, he is unable to see either the soap or the shower tap, and by mistake, the shower starts and his cloths start getting wet......
He yells for help and Nazneen is in two minds about entering the bathroom with a " paraya mard " inside...... She tries to give Jeetendra some guidance regardng the shower tap, but Jeetendra does not understands it. Then she takes the decision to go in the bathroom to help Jeetendra and thats exactly where we join them in the clip............
